The fabric has been vintage washed until it is very soft. The buttons are mother of pearl and there is a frill trim to the edges and cuffs. The cuffs are elasticated. 100% cotton this blouse washes at 30 degrees and is lovely and cool to wear. Best of all it doesn't need ironing!
